Playa Brasilito is a sleepy town in the North-Western province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This was hours after I first arrived via a sweaty bus that cost me $2.50 from the capitol San Jose. It was back when I wasn’t comfortable with my spanish and I couldn’t understand my host on the phone to get directions to the house. So I wondered all over the sleepy neighborhoods, it is a place still largely untouched by Costa Rica’s tourism frenzy. Eventually her son picked me up. We went for cervesas at a local haunt and I was treated to the first of many spectacular sunsets.
